The AH-1 SuperCobra is an attack helicopter manufactured by the American company Bell Helicopters as a successor to the AH-1 Cobra model. The AH-1W Super Cobra is the backbone of the United States Marine Corps' attack helicopter fleet. In active service since 1970, they are being replaced by the Bell AH-1Z Viper, a more modern version.
