The Gee Bee Model R was a racing aircraft that was produced from 1932 to 1933 and was developed from the Model Z. The aricraft quickly gained a reputation as being a aircraft only for the most skilled pilots because of its small wings and tiny control surfaces. What I created is by no means a replica of the Model R but a cool looking model of the plane that at least somewhat flys well. There are no tricks or hints to flying the plane well, and it should be fairly straightfoward. I have built aircraft before in simpleplanes but this is the first aircraft I have built on this account.
