B-36X Expeller

Auto Credit Based on realSavageMan's Government Transport Challenge! [closed]

This is probably the build I've wanted to make FOREVER. And I finally got it somewhere where I wanted it. My most made design, and this is the closest to what I want it to be. I just realized a way I could have made the extendable cannons as long as I intended for them to be, but I will do that when I am better at building.
Anyways, here's the backstory.

In 2036, the newly-made Thunderbird Manufacturing (later part of the eDEN corporation in the Science division of the Thunder Hawk Initiative) got a hefty sum of donations and grants from the USAF and some nice rich people.
After building a replica of the B-36J and some other rare aircraft that are no longer airworthy, the first military-service plane built for the THI was this, which was marked the "THA-X4 'Expeller'". But because it resembled the B-36, it was marked the B-36X by the USAF, and later, the B-4 when it officially entered service.

Based on the B-36 (Obviously), B-52, AC-130, and the YB-60; this aircraft has 6 supersonic (meaning it has a high propeller pitch) turboprop engines, ranging at 5000 HP, and 8 non-afterburning 10,000 pound-thrust engines, this ended up being highly transonic (unless in a dive, because of the laws of physics, this aircraft would not be able to break the sound barrier because of the straight wings). It could reach mach 0.8 at sea level, and barely mach 0.96 at 20,000 feet (about mach 1.2 in-game). This aircraft has an insane endurance, roughly 15,000 nautical miles at mach 0.8, which means it could be in the air for just over one day without refueling (and only going one way lol).

This aircraft is meant to transport the leader of the THI, the White Hawk, transcontinentally at high speeds. It accommodates about 20 crew members, including the White Hawk.

This aircraft is also meant for Close Air Support, Testbed carrier, it can be retrofitted with fuel tanks and drogues instead of the cruise missiles so it can be an aerial tanker, and it also can be for cargo and passenger transportation.

It has two fully extendable 105mm autocannons meant for taking out ground troops, as well as 6 long range MOAB cruise missiles (non-nuclear per THI rules), and it can carry tons of bombs of ordinance.
In the event a plane intercepts it, there are a lot of Chaff and Flares, as well as two rear 25mm Dracon autocannons that can be powered remotely from the cockpit or via a radio-wire controller at the gun through the crew tube. This makes this massive plane highly flexible for its positions in the world.

Before I get to the weapons / controls, I just want to note that this aircraft cannot take off with just the props. Even in real life, with a full 200,000 pound payload, the props are mostly meant for taxiing unless it is light at the time. The jets allow for a full take-off. You have been warned

Weapons:

  • 2 105mm Autocannons (500 rds each)
  • 15 1,500 pound bombs
  • 6 4-explosion scale 10-mile cruise missiles
  • 2 Rear 25mm Autocannons

Controls:

  • AG1: Jet Engines
  • AG2: Bomb bay / Arm bombs
  • AG3: Right Autocannon (VTOL to aim l/r)
  • AG4: Left Autocannon (VTOL to aim l/r)
  • AG7: Drogue Chute
  • VTOL up: Flaps
  • Trim: Trim

I hope y'all enjoy!!!

Side Note:

  • HERE is the B-36D that I built a few days ago. I worked really hard on this. At the very least, PLEASE give me feedback XD
  • Those jet engines came out really good IMO. I should have made them like this on the B-36D. Oh, well. One day I'm going to remake all of these anyways when I become a god-level builder and have a computer rather than a phone XD. Anyways, you still here reading? If you saw this, comment "Hypernova" in the comments :)
I want to see how many people actually read this lol.

Finally, I hope y'all enjoy! (x2)

@TrojanAircraftSystems lmao. The B-36D build has this too. I think I made the vertical stabilizer too large (at least the wing inside it)...

Yeah, I would have added an interior and the decals, but this plane is already really big (size and part count, albeit being very mobile friendly... weird). I suppose I will do that later though

@Cyberpilot16 it comes with time lol. The more you build, the better you get. The more tricks you learn. In order to do this, you must have time and patience. One I have little of any more, and the other may or may not be present when the game lags or starts overheating.
