Soon to lead the way

YKAF ADVANCED SUPERMANEUVERABILITY TRAINER AIRCRAFT

JR - T4 "Kiko" Advanced trainer aircraft

Important - Supermaneuverability is enabled on AG7.

  • As with all post stall maneuvers, these take time to learn and perfect.

  • This aircraft has very strong Yaw strength on AG7, for demonstration use for newer pilots.

  • No Gyroscopes in this build, all the maneuvers here can be remade with 3 dimensional thrust vectoring

  • Go lightly with this plane on the taxiway, reckless sharp turns on the ground may topple the aircraft. In the air though, it outperforms the rest.

Lore

Kiko shines hope into everyone's eyes. She's the companion that will follow you out of flight school, till when you reach the top tier aircraft such as the Yuuyake Aisu, JF6 Hanabi "Foxtail" or the JF4 Yuuyake Matsuri/Akari. She will always be by your side, and as a token of achievement for earning the highest ranks, she will be forever yours to keep.

The Joint Republican Aviation JR T4 "Kiko" is an airframe from a subsidiary aircraft design bereau registered under a smaller company of the Aisu brand after its debut and overall moderate success. It is designed to model the behaviour of the domestically built 5th generation fighter aircraft, most notably the Matsuri and Akari variants of the Yuuyake line built for the Yukikitsunekuni Air Force. The Kiko advanced trainer was built for outstanding training quality performance in all conditions regardless of weather conditions or orientation.

This aircraft is designed to mimic supermaneuverability, similar to the way aircraft such as the Isekai'd aircraft the YK Military stumbled on, such as the Sukhoi Su35 and Lockheed Martin F22. The predecessor airframe was recovered from an Isekai crash landing. This was developed independently, after evaluating and coming to conclusions that the wrecked aircraft was either an aerobatics or trainer plane of some sort.

The Kiko is designed to be flown by human pilots, where the aircraft has two seats for both a flight coach and student pilot. The G force load in this airframe has also been increased out of necessity to withstand the turbulent behavior the airframe is designed to handle. It requires easy skill to fly, and moderate skill to perform the post stall maneuvers.

(Bear in mind, however, that the Kiko is built specifically for the 2020 Trainer Aircraft Tournament, which after working in the Aisu and real life affairs, i had little time to build. I still hope you enjoy using this aircraft, apologies for not having posted a teaser.)

A T4 Kiko taking off from the deck of YKN Akari, flown by the trainee pilot Akari Midori, and instructed by Haruka Kitsune, demonstrating what seems to be a Split S maneuver combined with an extremely short takeoff.

The Kiko was first built as a response to the Trainer aircraft Tournament and to the Requirements of the YKAF for a new jet to prepare new pilots when handling the more modern 5th Gen fighter aircraft. This particular airframe is the one flown by the character Akari Midori during flight training, hence the portrait on the right wing.

As the rays of sun once again beamed out amongst the daylight over the airfield, soon after the cherry blossom Aisu fighers had all taken off on their sorties, A young, renowned Aisu pilot remained to teach the cadets how to master something entirely alien to them, _- supermaneuverability. He called one of them over, and they both climbed into the canopy. They soon took off, the Kiko springing to life after they were given takeoff clearance.

"Midori san, watch this"

The aircraft suddenly pitched into a rediculous maneuver, one that she had never witnessed in her life, the whole plane becoming compressed as both the pilots were forced back into their seats, the whole airframe doing the shortest turn she'd ever witnessed. Then it levelled out again.
They just performed a Kulbit maneuver.
Midori was amazed. Now it was her time to attempt it...

She aimed the nose of the craft down and pulled back on the stick, the rudder airbrakes forcing the craft up into a stall.

Easy does it...

The aircraft pitched into a full circle, like it just flipped on a dime.

She reversed her action, pitching downwards carefully, until the craft was straight and level once again.

Haruka Kitsune looked round behind him, beaming. Midori's very first attempt was a success.
She looked back at him, gleaming with joy.

As they returned to land, an Aisu roared over the airbase, its sonic boom like a low rumble from the perspective of the Kiko's cockpit.

One day, she would get to fly the real thing...

Here at the Aisu subsidary of Joint Republican Aviation, functionality and safety are key. The tide has been turning away from fourth generation fighters such as the integrated 4/5 gen JF6 Hanabi, calling for new recruits to help the war effort. We want to gurantee the best pilot training in this new era, and the best way to learn is from experience.

The airframe is fitted with state of the art Fortune X Training software, designed to not only mimic the more modern fighters, but to also provide valueable experiences to both trainees and veterans alike. The airframe is also fitted with extremely subtle internal thrust vectoring that is nearly impossible to notice, as well as a twin cockpit and simulation monitor which will allow (figuratively) the aircraft to simulate a real dogfight and to also assist the pilot with state of the art training system with a similar HUD to the JF4 Aisu.

Do note that on takeoff it is recommended to disable AG7, unless you are an experienced pilot and would like to use post stall maneuvers as a practice standpoint.
This will usually not actually endanger the aircraft, but is not recommended for brand new pilots, unless you want to try and learn quickly, of course. We do encourage new and aspiring 5th generation pilots, so this is the perfect plane to start with.

*To get out of a flat spin, angle the roll in the direction of spin, and cut the throttle Hold the yaw in the other direction, and aim nose towards the ground,. Make sure you have around several thousand feet, depending on the recoverability of the spin. *

Inputs and Controls:

Ignore any instances of amp; or lt;, they are text formatting bugs i have no control over.

AG7 - Supermaneuverability mode, with increased speed, enhanced roll and 360° ultra subtle thrust vectoring.

VTOL: Landing flaps.

Brake: Airbrake

'FireGuns`: Nil, (this plane is unarmed)

Trim : Trim aircraft pitch, (Useful along with VTOL input on landing)

Other than that, normal aircraft controls apply.

Automatic Safety Speed Limiters:

Automatic airbrake at 500m/s, to avoid breaking the tournament max speed restriction.

Armament

None

Trivia

  • The airframe was actually meant to be green, but the current colour scheme fit better.

This airframe was developed in record time, excluding the ten minute challenge i attempted once for fun.

Where's the sauce?

Two T4 Kiko jets practicing formation flight.

  • I was originally going to build a Saab TX / Boeing T7 Red Hawk, but there was only one blueprint sheet for the TX, and it was incomplete, so I made a semi replica instead, inspired by the TX. I hope you enjoy it!

This version of the plane is Midori's JR T4 "Kiko" This is the airframe you will obtain if you choose to download this aircraft.

This aircraft has moderately high wing loading, to assist the supermaneuverability feature. Remember this during flight. You ideally will want to refrain from stall landings.

Apologies, if my aircraft doesn't run well on your device. It has had a remarkably short development period, and it was tested on low, medium and high physics on a lower end device.

Tell me if you have any difficulties using it.

I hope you enjoy your experience with this aircraft.

This plane is designed to help practice with supermaneuverability. With AG7 off it can also serve well as an ordinary trainer.

You have a very unique building style with all your builds.

I don't like the style at all.

However, this difference of opinion doesn't prevent me from seeing all the work put into the build.

Why do I feel like doing any of that kill the pilot witch wouldn’t be good for a trainer lol
