She sat by the edge of the pond, admiring the water lilies that dotted its surface.

The girl had just arrived at the academy today. I was told that she was my younger sister, but I bore no recollection of her. Despite this, I found myself drawn to her peaceful nature and graceful form. Now, as I was passing by the pond in the academy's garden, I had found myself captivated by her stillness once more.

Immediately, I wrestled open my satchel and retrieved my sketchbook. Just as quickly, she turned her head towards me with her eyes wide open, but only for a moment - and the picturesque scene was restored. Clearly, and fortunately for me, the flowers were of greater importance than the sudden appearance of a long-lost older sister.

Now, I sat beneath a tree, and began to admire my own water lily by the pond.
