AOIXAF-M557 ''Aerofighter''

28.1k KerlonceauxIndustries  8.6 years ago

The Aerofighter class HAC (Heavy Attack Craft) is one of the largest fighters ever built. It might not be as fast as its predecessors, but it is definitely much more heavily armed, including a multitude of weapons and fuel tank hardpoints. Its primary armament is a set of 6 triple-barrel anti-tank/anti-aircraft howitzer heavy machine cannons. The secondary armament is a set of 8 long range missiles (1-2), and a set of external mounts for more missiles, bombs, or external fuel tanks for extended range.

Go for stuff like this, at least to supplement the big planes:
    M-37
Or you can try something like this: AB-1

Plus, small planes are cheap and expendable while being hard to hit.

Small and agile is a good tactic. Strength in numbers. @AlphaOneIndustries
