Douglas SBD Dauntless w/gun pods

Auto Credit Based on F104Deathtrap's Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless

Not my plane. It was an amazing base for my custom gun pods which Dauntless style bombers occasionally carried during World War 2. Go checkout F104Deathtrap for the original plane with 2 25lb bombs instead and for the controls of the main bomb and rear gunner. (Idea from the War Thunder Dauntless attatchment pods)

Yeah, not much but it sometimes happened also there is a fairly realistic game that has the gun pods as secondary attachments

Yeah, gun pods were common. Never saw them on the Dauntless, but it does make sense.
