RainWorld - White Lizard

”Each beast has a place on the food chain”

This is the White Lizard from RainWorld. The white lizard, unlike most lizards excluding Mole Lizards, is blind. It uses it’s strong sense of hearing and smell to get around and find prey, but that’s not the only notable thing. While some lizards including the White Lizard have an extendable tongue, much like a chameleon’s, the White Lizard’s tongue has by far the longest reach, able to extend almost three times it’s own body length.

Another notable thing about the White Lizard is that it can camouflage with the background, again, much like a chameleon. I wasn’t able to do this in SP, as it would most likely be waaay to complicated to figure out compared to my skill level, which mind you, isn’t very good lol.

Anyway yeah, nothing else much to say, so here’s the controls:
VTOL up for walking/running, AG-1+pitch for changing your angle on slopes, to make it easier to move. You can also use it to rear up or crouch on flat ground, but it does look a little weird. Pitch and Roll controls head movements, and Yaw to turn. Fire Guns button, or spacebar if you’re on PC, to open the mouth and launch the tongue. I used the “impactForce” attribute to my advantage here, as in RainWorld, if a White Lizard catches you with it’s tongue, it will try to reel you in with it, so I made the impactForce attribute on the bullets a negative number, so instead of launching something away from you, it pulls it towards you. It doesn’t work well on heavier targets, so try to use it only on lighter things if you want it to reel in properly. Also don’t allow it to reel in too quickly, as it can come slamming into you and destroy some things.

Have Fun, and go launch someone off of Chimney Canopy!
