Vanguard is a hypersonic glider designed to fit in the 1200mm barrel of the Pyramidium Electromagnetic Railgun Turrets. It contains a small rocket motor to provide a final acceleration boost when it is in space. It is an extremely accurate weapon, and there are kinetic penetrator variants of it that can have terminal phase velocities of over Mach 15.
