From an ideological standpoint, either side is equally good and bad when viewed from a neutral standpoint. Already, socialism and authoratarianism are two highly controversial government systems that have both been responsible for incredible economic growth but also responsible for incredible political corruption. The Pilotmarians feel that the potential contribution a person has to society is always greater than the effort needed to realize said potential. The Teutons believe that for some people, the effort needed to make them useful is not worth their potential. The Paternians, and by extension, Pilotmarians, believe that a certain acceptance for all differences will create a harmonious society. However, the Teutons believe that a homogeneity is the key to a harmonious society. The Pilotmarians believe that any industry with any value to war, including civilians who partake in such industry, are as much a target as military units, although hospitals are excluded. The Teutons, seeing that women are physically smaller and weaker and prone to menstrual periods, are inferior to men, although women belonging to noble or professional families (i.e. Scientists, engineers, military/police officers, businessmen, etc) or women who perform highly in a certain field at school are often exempted as "outliers". @Areonautics3 @MikuKat
