info

The IA-58 is a single-seater plane, the space occupied by the front cabin serves as a housing for a 30mm DEFA cannon, with 270 explosive, incendiary and other types of cartridges. Of course it retains the rest of the armament of the previous versions (2HS DCA-804 of 20mm, and 4 Browning of 7.62mm).

Taking advantage of the change, the cabin of the single crew member was enlarged and completely blind to preserve it from the firing of light weapons.

The ability to operate in field aerodromes was increased with the incorporation of autonomous rapid-start equipment, to reduce ground support elements and dead times between departure and exit.

The extension of the cabin allowed the redistribution of equipment and indicators to facilitate the task to the pilot in combat.

This is a really cool build too! I saw this aircraft a couple times at the RAF Duxford museum. It looks very different from other aircraft of the same role but very cool! You put in a lot of nice details too!

One of the propellers (I think the Right looking from the front of the plane) has more drag than the Left making takeoff a bit harder as the plane turns to the left (from the back of the plane). Thx for replying. Hope you fix this issue soon (: @emanuelga
