DA-UAR-50 "VULTURE"
Unmanned Autonomous Recon
DA-UAR-50 "VULTURE" is a autonomous high altitude long endurance recon drone designed by DRACON ARMORY for the ruskovian armed forces.
The ruskovian armed forces was in need for a real time surveillance platform to keep an eye on its vast borders that could stay airborne for long periods of time and fly at high altitude. Especially with cross border terrorism and drug cartel activity on a steady rise.
Dracon was tasked with designing the UAV as per the requirements and within a year, they designed and manufacturerd the first prototype YRQ-001.
YRQ-001 featured a turbofan engine and various sensory equipments including electro-optical and IR sensors, radar system to identify and track stationary and moving targets and signal intelligence systems. YRQ-001 was able to stay airborne up to 30 hours at an altitude of above 15000 meters, cruising at 400+ km/h. It was also capable of performing mission objectives autonomously.
Pleased by the results, dracon was given the go ahead for mass production with an initial procurement of 70 units.
YRQ entered service with ruskovian armed forces with the official designation of UAR-50 and proved to be crucial in many operations targeting terrorist and cartel hideouts which were often located in remote areas and were previously undetected. UAR-50 would fly over these hideouts and loiter for hours on end, collecting vital information. These info were later used for either planning a special forces raid or guiding a ballistic missile strike. Dozens of such hideouts were found and destroyed, inflicting heavy loses on them.
The existence of UAR-50 was kept a secret until one of them was filmed crashing near a small town by two civilians. The drone reportedly lost control and wandered of from its planned route eventually ending up crashing. The crash site was quickly secured with the help of local police but the incident sparked a few conspiracy theories. Some people claimed it was an alien craft and the rumours soon spread around like wildfire until the two individuals came forward with the footage.
Controls
• Standard flight controls
• Ag8 off to turn of the limiter (It can maneuver a lot harder than you think)
• Ag1 for loitering mode. Once turned on, it'll level out automatically and won't respond to pitch or roll inputs. Use VTOL slider to adjust the bank angle of up to 60°. Up to turn left, down to turn right. The nose may drop slightly so use trim to level out.
• Ag7 for lights
• Brakes for spoilers
Targeting pod
Not automated but camera aimed. It shows data including spend, heading and position of your aircraft and the coordinates of the point (at sea level) where it's aimed at. Also the distance to the said point.

Rambling
This shouldn't have taken this long. But......oh well. I have some things planned for it. will I go through with any of them? I don't know. Also my first plane to have something of an airfoil. And it got wing flex :D. Next up is probably a Christmas post. Got something in mind. Anyways, that's about it. See ya around
