friend tribute build #2

history

The Grumman F6F Hellcat is the United States answer to the Japanese A6M Zero, which at the early point in ww2, wrecked havoc on the Americans out classed and outdated F4F Wildcats. Every aspect was able to be refined after an intact Zero landed in Alaska, and its secrets became well known. The F6F had one of the Highest kill ratios in the war and is definitely one of the best looking ww2 carrier aircraft during ww2.

controls

@LittleJerry no, it was an underperforming aircraft in climb rate, and armament, yes they did develop tactics to help win against the zeros but they were still loosing many aircraft to the zero. The zero in every way was a perfect match to destroy any and all wildcats.

wasnt the f4f wildcat already a balanced solution against the zero?
