Single-seat single-engine fighter . Not very fast, but maneuverable enough, with not the most user-friendly but powerful armament.

history

An early version of the plane was developed in 1934. It differed from the one shown here with a weaker engine, different armament and a couple of other changes. The version here is a rare modification from 1940. It has much more dangerous armament and a 1,500 horsepower engine.

The plane was the predecessor of the As 39, and some technical solutions were tried on it, which were used on the planes later.

This modification participated in the war. The enemy pilots treated these planes as helpless, but when they came under fire of 30-mm guns, they started to stay away from the fire unnecessarily. The plane proved better at intercepting bombers, although it was not designed to be an interceptor. Enemy bombers just scattered after a couple of hits, but because the engines were not very powerful it was not always possible to reach a firing position.

some instructions

  1. Here I have a strange physics of the flaps. Yes, they add lift, but they don't pull the plane upward. Keep this in mind when landing.
  2. The plane has a high landing speed because of its small wings.
  3. Don't overdo it with too much G. The G effect stimulator on the camera has limited strength. If you overtighten it, the cockpit will fall off the airplane and hang around inside.
  4. These cannons are hard to aim, but they hurt a lot. It's difficult to use, but it's a devastating weapon.

  9. Chassis shift lever. Red - undercarriage is up. Blue - released.

  11. The AG's On-Panel. Useless, considering that they are not in the control of the plane.
  12. Throttle lever.
