I'm always improving my designs. If you like using this plane and want to see something fixed, just let me know.

Controls

-VTOL Down+AG1: Engines down for VTOL Mode
-VTOL Neutral+AG1: Regular Flight
-VTOL Down+AG2: Fold Wings for Carrier Storage
-VTOL Down+AG3: Drop Rear Tailgate
-AG4: Lights
-AG5: Tail hook

WHEN TRANSITIONING FROM VTOL TO REGULAR FLIGHT, SLOWLY RETURN VTOL TO NEUTRAL WITH AG1 IS APPLIED. Once craft has reached a safe flight speed disable AG1. Honestly, the craft should automatically keep itself upright with even the most aggressive adjustments, but seriously, that's how you'd fly a plane?

Description

In the years prior a demand was needed for a very capable VTOL rescue aircraft for the Emerald Seas that separated the Emerald Sea Republic from the rest world, as well as fit the needs of the CV Coast Guard. EAS started the work on what would be one of the most capable VTOL aircraft ever designed. The goal was to make it easy to fly, eliminating many of the redundant controls and systems found in the aircraft used by the republic, so that other forces could utilize it.

The CVAF, and the CVCG delivered a decommissioned CF35 Coast Guard rescue plane to the EAS hangers. The design was simple, VTOL would allow the aircraft to get close to a sinking ship, and from that point the Pounder would then launch smaller ships from it's large storage bad to recover people stuck at sea. For this it was decided the main flight engines would also be used for VTOL flight to provide exceptional power, enough that even a small skiff could be lifted. In addition, the New Pounder would need to be able to fold its wings so it could be deployed from an Aircraft Carrier for an even faster response time.

In the year that followed, major setbacks put the design team at EAS on a temporary hold, with many projects sitting it's hangers. A new team, code names "Phoenix" eventually took over the project. With more advance building techniques taken from the EAS space development team, the now dubbed CA-35A Pounder made it's maiden flight from the Maywar testing facility, passing all it's test from multiple successful VTOL landings, both at sea and land, as well as being able to taxi via waterways to a sinking ship.

Builders Notes

This is an old bird, and it was a project that I couldn't really finish since things got busy. If you fly any VTOL aircraft I build, let it be this one. It was made to be very easy to fly, and with practice, even the most unskilled pilot can learn how to put this thing on heliports. I wanted something that would land near a sinking ship, and drive right up to it, and powerful enough to carry small boats for even larger rescues. This one was built for an old friend CptJacobson. I feel bad because he asked me to help with this one a year ago, and now it's up and running. So I have to ask "Yo Buddy, you still Alive?", Look, in a community like this, I had to go with an Ace Combat Meme.

@Tabris Definitely, It'd be cool to see what you've been working on. You should upload them too. A little publicity never hurts, especially in this community.

@Tabris You as well. Had to take a break from things, but in the meantime I was working on much better ways to build things, including the Pounder.
