The VF-272 Harpoon is a Fighter Aircraft developed by Helios Aviation Industries and Vulture Dynamics as part of the Supermaneuverability Fighter Program and features exceptional Air-To-Air and Air-To-Ground capabilities.

Features:
- Quick Brake System: Hold down the brakes to activate the quick brake system and bring the aircraft to stall speed for PSM.
- Micro Missiles: Miniature missiles which are fired rapidly and are very difficult to avoid.
- Carrier Capable: It can operate on aircraft carriers, as well as fold its wings to be stored in one.
-Ace Livery: The paintjob used on the aircraft is the paintjob of Bloodhound Squadron, Thallaccea's only Ace Squadron.

How to PSM:
Method 1 - Use the Quick Brakes to stall the aircraft then Activate 1 to enable Thrust Vectoring.
Method 2 - Slow down the aircraft to below 300 mph then Activate 1 to enable Thrust Vectoring.

History:
The VF-272 Harpoon was originally designed by Cappuccio Arms as the X-221, but was inevitably cancelled due to how expensive it's development had become. The project was picked up by Helios Aviation Industries, and had undergone many changes from the original design. Despite the many changes, its RG-3 Railgun was kept, as well as the quick brake system and engines. However, the base fuselage was altered drastically and the XM-44 Hyper Explosive Anti-Airship missiles as well as the SI-11 Seeker rounds were removed.
Vulture Dynamics provided the weapons of the aircraft such as the LAM-11 Micro Missiles, AAM-24 Arrowhead and AAM-16 Valkyrie.
Though the aircraft did not get chosen to replace Spycca's VF-217 Trident, the aircraft's exceptional performance gained the interest of the Thallaccean Aerial Defense Forces and bought 68 of them to replace their outdated J-73 Scourge. The VF-272 Harpoon then became the primary fighter of the TADF, and has earned it's place as one of the most effective fighter aircraft in the world.
