Springloaded/Independent Slats Experiment

Springloaded Slats Experiment

Just a small experiment of realistic springloaded slats, slats that will deployed downwards independently (depends on each wing AoA condition). It boast stability when both pitching and rolling, especially on low-speed where aircrafts tend to rolling due to wing stall. Similiar mechanism is also used in multiple aircrafts, and the last notable plane that use this mechanism was the A-4 Skyhawk.

    @WarLightning I shouldn't be mentioned, it doesn't make any difference who came up with it.

    Thankyou!!

    @WarLightning you do not need to make the slat a separate part for the fighter flight model, add the slat code to the aileron code.

    @WarLightning the essence is the same, it doesn't matter if it's an automatic slat, flap or floating aileron, just adjust the code depending on what you need.

    @HAXEP Also, i think you're talking about the inverted roll, let me explain.
    Your and mine are different type of mechanism, yours are slat that works as aileron (moving like all moving wingtip) while mine are... just a slat that operated naturally (springloaded) So it will be droop whenever the wing lifted up (either high AoA or rolling). So its like countering the roll for stability. If you ever play war thunder or dcs, and ever fly A-4 Skyhawk or MiG-3/Bf-109, you would understand what i mean

    @HAXEP Aa i see, you talking about the slat mechanism, yes its still far from perfect but at least im trying to made one

    You made a mistake, that's not how it works in the game.

    it is difficult to understand anything on such a craft, in order for the effect to be pronounced, another craft is needed, here is an example

    @Yuoko Thankyou!
    @SuperSuperTheSylph A generic wwii fighter it can be hurricane/spitfire, bf-109, MiG-3, etc. Depends on the purpose
