Anti-Submarine Warfare Targets:

AI controlled submarines for testing Anti-Submarine Warfare Vehicles and Weaponry.

This is here to serve as a single place where any and all AI versions of my submarines will be linked. In order to not clutter my uploads, I've decided for future AI ASW targets to be uploaded unlisted, and linked here. Previously uploaded ASW targets will also be linked here.

Features

  • Submarines that can be spawned either in, under, or even above water in the air. Thus the 'Default' spawn option is safe to use.

  • Low Part counts for minimum effect on performance.

Recommended:

  • Get the Simple Sonar part for a tool in locating submarines.
  • Get the Underwater Camera mod for seeing below the surface.
  • Rockets are the best weapon for attacking submarines, since they don't disappear below 60 feet (18 meters). If you set a sub Shallow, Bomb Based weapons can be useful.

How to Use

1) Use the Jet Engine attached and nudged above the Sub to determine its depth. Put it higher for deeper depth and lower for shallower depth. It will ensure the sub remains below a certain depth.

2) When Spawning AI, Spawn as 'Aggressive' to ensure it does not disappear upon submerging.

3) Happy Hunting!

And without further ado...here is the list!

1)Los Angeles Class: Download from this page here.
2)Kilo Class
3)November Class
4)Alfa Class

More to come with time.

@SyntheticL You can, check out my profile it has a link to a kit for making Free Divers. Although if you don't wanna use the VTOL system check out one of my latest submarines for an improved non-fuel diving system. I believe my George Washington has this system. Should probably make an updated kit that includes it.
