Focke Wulf Fw 251 Entwurf V - J P.100-47

To make this beautiful night fighter I based on the images of wardrawings and luft46, for the interior I based on my Victoria Tail but making it more modern, with a radar to locate the opponent more easily.
The history and the data are confusing, since wardrawings says that it has a crew of 1 pilot and that it is a Jet Nightfighter, while on the luft46 site it says that it would have a crew of 3, even though it does not seem to be such a large vehicle, In any case, I base myself on the data, eh, images from Wardrawings (it is also true that they have different project numbers, but it is clearly the same plane).

History:

This Focke-Wulf design (also known as Design IV) for a twin-jet nightfighter also dates from March 19, 1945. The fuselage was to be constructed of Duraluminum, and the wooden wings contained a steel spar. Like the Design III, the wings were mounted mid-fuselage and were swept back 30 degrees. Three He S 011 turbojets provided the power, one was located beneath the cockpit in the forward fuselage and two were mounted under the wings. At least one engine could be shut down to increase endurance. A crew of three (pilot, radio operator and navigator) sat in a pressurized cockpit, with the pilot and navigator sitting side-by-side and the radio operator sitting behind them and facing to the rear. Armament was similar to that in the Design III, namely, two MK 108 30mm cannon in the fuselage nose and two MK 108 30mm cannon firing upwards in the rear fuselage, or four MK 108 30mm cannon firing forward in the fuselage nose. The influence that Focke-Wulf had with these night-fighter designs had a definite effect on Soviet aircraft manufacturers, with the Lavochkin La-200 and MIG I-320 in particular showing similarities to the earlier Focke-Wulf designs.

- Wardrawings Fw J.P.100-47

How to use:

  • Vtol: Flaps
  • Button 1: Activate forward 30mm Mk108
  • Button 2: Activate 30mm Mk108 "Schräge Musik" (be careful!, if the bomber has a lot of explosive charge it is likely that you will explode with it)
  • Button 3: Enables the movement of the front wheel
  • Button 4: Stabilizer
  • Button 5: Navigation Lights
  • Button 8: Turn off central turbine (for this set the power to 0 press 8 and then turn the power back up)

Here the link of some of my creations that I recommend if you downloaded this plane.

God damn, now you’re obligated to make all three versions of the Me P.1101.
It was supposed to have a T-Tail apparently.

Well, I upvoted your plane this morning, and I comment that now, I find it good, the canopy is also good, I haven't had much time lately to make progress on my Silbervogel, but I think the finish this week.
