Background:
The T-2.3 project was started in 1943 after Germany was introducing its 3rd generation of tanks. It was meant to be a heavy tank that could easily block the Tigers 8.8cm in the front. This was the prototype that went through testing with the T-2.1BT turret. 200 of these were made and only 150 of these prototypes were sent to the frontlines. In 1945 the actual T-2.3 was put in to service.
