The rules are simple, all you need to do is make a jet from the 1940 or 50. And for some of my followers yes you can make a fictional plane inwitch it can be a real plane like this 
to something crazy like this 
it can also be a crazy ww2 German plane.
speed
the speed of the planes for a fighter needs to be around 490 to 610 mph for a bomber it can be 400 to 510, also as long as the plane has a jet engine that is visible than you can add a propeller 
winners
First place will get 15 upvotes

@Hahahahaahahshs ,planning to make a bomber. Is the speed limit for cruising/max straight flying speed only? Or does it account for dive speed? Cause when I dive, I hit 600ish MPH.

dammm i was gonna enter, this is a really good challenge i love the late 40s-60s era of jets with their simple but elegant designs seeing them go from simple straight wing fighters to the more advanced and supersonic swept wing aircraft, but my project is a 1954 design + it breaks the speed rule doing 930mph :(
