Apart of The Rift

”I can’t get out of this spin!”

-Some brave yet unlucky test pilot

The golden Military was desperate for new equipment and was forced to reconfigure many older models to increase their effectiveness on the battlefield. One such conversion was the XF-48-A2 Trident Rex which took the primary wings and changed them to be forward swept like the Trident Fighters. The theory was that it would allow for better turn rates but the actual prototype was hard to control and the loss of the first pilot during testing would mark the end for this conversion. A model of this experimental design is featured in the office of flight marshal Andrew Fisher “Baron”.
