About Class 1 Touring Cars.
Class1 Touting Cars refers to two generations of prototype silhouette-style touring car regulations employed by the FIA.
The second generation of Class 1 Touring Car is a purpose-built racer based on a two-door road-going model. The cars feature a two-litre turbocharged inline-four engine, capped at 650 hp and mounted in the front of the car. Push-to-pass and DRS are employed on the DTM vehicles (but not in Super GT), which benefit from 3.4t of downforce. All vehicles must be front-engine, rear-wheel drive.-(from Wikipedia)
Class 1 Touring Cars were once used in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) and are still used in Japan's Super GT series. Class 1 cars have speed and cornering capabilities that surpass Group GT3 cars, and they can achieve faster lap times than the hypercars that currently make up the highest class at Le Mans. They are truly the fastest GT cars. Their speed is overwhelming to watch. In terms of design, the large protruding fenders and lateral ducts on the sides exude the beauty of a racing car. The differences in appearance due to the different base cars used by different manufacturers are a joy to behold.
Why I made an Alfa Romeo Class 1 touring car.
Alfa Romeo once dominated the DTM with the 155 V6 TI, and I wanted to see Alfa Romeo return to the DTM and do well again. There was little chance of this happening in real life, so I had a strong desire to make this happen at least in a game, and decided to create it with SimplePlanes. I also tried to make it a four-door like the old DTM cars.
Features, initial settings, and control
- This is a major improvement on a previous version, with various aspects ranging from the appearance to the system.
- The settings are explained in the second half of the video I uploaded to YouTube (there is also an explanation in Japanese).
- It is equipped with a prototype six-speed sequential manual transmission, making the vehicle even more fun to drive.
- To address instability caused by external factors that cannot be fully addressed with a keyboard or controller, PID steering control is introduced, reducing sudden oversteer and improving stability.
- You can set which operations to assign to steering and gear shift by editing the variable setters.

to gear shift. By default, Yaw is assigned to steering and Roll to shift. Use the set keys to perform shift operations. You can also turn on Activate3 to turn off the PID stability control mentioned above. - If you want to use ReShade from the driver's seat, we recommend replacing your existing camera with the HMD found in PlanariaLab's CameraAndDisplay. The existing first-person camera does not work well with ReShade because it divides rendering based on the distance from the camera.
- I recommend using the Elliptical grip model by hpgbproductions.
- Turning the Activate2 switch on or off engages DRS. Applying the brakes disables DRS. DRS improves acceleration and top speed at high speeds.
- You can use the wiper with Activate6.

Bug
During several tests, I have occasionally encountered an issue where the shift operation becomes impossible under certain conditions. This is not reproducible and the cause has not been identified. It is probably a coding error on my part, so I will let you know as soon as I find out what the problem is.
I've only just started learning FunkyTrees, so I think I'm still inexperienced. I'll continue to work on any areas I can improve.
