DM-21F "Mel"

2,430 Danisito014  4.4 years ago

The "Mel" story begins with the prototype X-1319 which didn't turn out to be too good, so it was canceled. Three months later, the "Mel" project was once again put on the table, only this time, it would be finalized.

The X-1319 was thinking from the beginning as a high-speed interceptor, although over time it was taking the form of a reconnaissance aircraft supersonic, night fighter (embarked), this gave life to the DM-21F.

It has four interceptor missiles for defence; It also has two disposable fuel tanks of about 120L each.

Its main role is played at sea, using an aircraft carrier as a base; use a afterburner and deactivate nose gear to take off.

GROUP 1: Afterburner.
GROUP 2: Nav lights.
GROUP 3: Tail Hook.
GROUP 4: Flaps/Landing lights.
GROUP 5: Cockpit lights.
GROUP 6: Drop tanks.
GROUP 7: Nose radar open/close.
GROUP 8: Activate/Deactivate nose gear.

Touch GROUP 4 and use VTOL to extend / retract the flaps.
Touch GROUP 7 and use VTOL to open / close the nose radar.

Set flaps to 50% to take off.
Set flaps to 100% to landing.

Enjoy!

This is really great! I love the detail you put into this with the writing and tail art. The cockpit is also a great addition to this. It looks like an advanced trainer or ground attack aircraft to me and a very good one too! Well done!
