Westland Lynx AH 9

15.7k Charlie2613  5.0 years ago

Westland Lynx AH.9 as used by British SAS and Royal marines commandos.
Featuring 2 door guns, flares and seating for troops this helicopter is a similar spec to those use in the recent desert conflicts.
This is just the first, I have the Navy variant and the anti-tank variant with missiles ready to release soon. A full cockpit may feature after if I can work out how to do it well.
It doesn't use the new rotor as I couldn't customise it enough but I wont be offended if you swap them over, remove the gyros with it however

CONTROLS:
AG1 +VTOL opens doors,
AG2 moves guns into a fire position (gyro stabilised)
AG8 to shut down engines.
TRIM up to cruise (additional speed and trim for fast flight-power must be above 60%) WARNING: do not try to operate the doors while the guns are in the fire postion, bad things may happen

So you can fix a board then you can fix a bike and if you can fix a bike you can fix a car if you can fix a car you can learn to fix a lynx mark 8 helicopter, a Pacific 24 sea boat a 4 and a half inch naval gun, a Samson radar system or a type 45 destroyer, and when you can fix all that you’ll be a Royal Navy engineer

@Charlie2613 Using custom rotors is actually better than the ones in the update.

Part of the reason I haven't used the new rotors yet, A bit more freedom with how it looks and handles @metallicplanes

Noice. This is the fastest helicopter (next to the Eurocopter X-3). Keep up the good work.👍 Also would you consider making an EC-120 with interior?
