The Feldhammer CF-16A “Adler” is a single-engine multirole fighter developed under PROJEKT ADLER as Silbertal’s first primary post-crisis combat aircraft. Designed in the early 1980s, the program prioritized functional versatility, production discipline, and long-term sustainability over narrow specialization or experimental concepts.

The aircraft combines a compact airframe with a refined aerodynamic layout, providing high agility, stable handling, and a broad operational envelope. Its engine PPH-G1210A delivers a strong thrust-to-weight ratio, enabling rapid acceleration, confident climb performance, and sustained high-energy maneuvering, including steep and near-vertical climb profiles under combat load.

Feldhammer’s structural philosophy emphasizes reliability and ease of operation.
