It's usage includes the Alliance, all of the military branches of the USFAF, and many other militaries across the galaxy. It is also used by often by private security contractors.

It's advantage over other assault rifles includes it compact size and multiple picatinny rails. It's also one of the most customizable firearms on the market with over 300 different accessories. It also is able to fire in the vaccum of space. It's hydium alloy shell protects it from damage while also keeping it light weight however cheaper plastic models exist.
