Nightfang Stealth F-139

89.4k Kerbango  7.2 years ago

The Nightfang Stealth F-139 is the first stealth plane from Kerbango Craft Company.
With a top speed of 550 mph the Nightfang is definitely not the fastest jet in the air but she does not need to be, with the advanced stealth coating and shape it gives her the distinct advantage of first strike!

Armed with 4 interceptor missiles, 2 guardian missiles and two mini Gatling guns. The Nightfang is the perfect quick launch, quick strike and quick return vehicle (QLSR?)

The phrase "Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee." comes to mind.
Normal flight controls, Pitch, Trim, roll and yaw.

For landing keep it at least 10% but up to about 25% just to keep the nose up the very final 20 feet or so, brake right before the threshold and keep brake pressed as you're rolling down the runway.
Enjoy the new state of the art virtual cockpit that incorporates the traditional Hands On Throttle And Stick or HOTAS concept. But takes it a step further being augmented by new control media such as head pointing with a Helmet Mounted Sighting System and Direct voice input.
In other words, when you get into cockpit view you can see in a 300 degree arc around you without the physical cockpit blocking your view. ( I like watching my reflection in the water as I fly low over the waves.)

The only problem I find is that on landings I tend to lose my nose cone. But that just might be me and my pilot in skills. @spasmsofjustice
