Single-engine single-seat fighter-interceptor. It is an airplane with high rate of climb, maneuverability and speed. Its cannons are not the most powerful, but thanks to its excellent rate of fire it is able to make enemies a devastation.

history

Early modifications of the plane were created in 1936, but they were not very successful. In 1940 the modification ,,D," was created, significantly revised, with a different engine, new cockpit, different armament, and in general a very greatly redesigned design. This modification suddenly turned out to be very successful, and many pilots liked it right away.

In 1941, when the war broke out, the plane was on duty from the first days. Formations of enemy bombers immediately began to suffer serious losses. When the modification "D-37" was introduced, they became threatening, because of the new armament, which allowed to destroy the planes at a considerable distance, where the enemy's armament was ineffective.

It served successfully until 1956, when it was finally replaced by jets. Many other successful modifications evolved from it, some of which are still in use as training aircraft.

some instructions .

1. be careful with maneuvering at low speeds. When using flaps and pitching the plane can reach critical angles of attack and stall.
2. If you brake too hard, you may capotize on landing. Brake more carefully.

3. the airplane has a strong yaw, it is not going to critical angles of attack. There is a risk of met the ground.
