X-248b / A-8E M44 Scorpion-Atari

By the time the Air Defense Forces received the Scorpion-Atari, it was hardly the same aircraft that retired from service in the early 2000's. Initially developed from the Strikemaster for the Air Training Corps' phase II advanced trainer requirement, the Scorpion-Atari evolved into a dedicated forward air control and counter-insurgency aircraft. The Atari bore the advancements of its sister Atla trainer, endurance improvements, increased payload capacity and variety, and Reflex's Atari total fire control system. This twin-engine, V-tail COIN platform represented the ADF's shift from high-tech standoff doctrine to down ‘n dirty in close support of army and security forces in conflict regions.

Ag6 - Jettison Sponson/stub wing payload
Ag7 - jettison wing payload
VTOL - Flaps ( flaps increases drag )

designed for computer/mobile, but I plan to make a VR version of the Atla trainer model eventually
