Not

Part-Efficient Aircrafts~!!

Because it is unapproved due to not following some conditions.

I would like to say thank you very much to Mousewithamachinegun122 for helping me to fix the flying issue of the aircraft. You are literally my savior! <3

The ASF-X Shinden II (lit: "Magnificent Lightning") is a next-generation combat aircraft. In the Assault Horizon universe, the aircraft was a prototype for the active service variants, collectively known as the F-3 Shinden II, developed to protect Japan airspace.

The ASF-X Shinden II was created by Shoji Kawamori, known as the creator of the Macross series, as exclusive downloadable content for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. The aircraft was an attempt by Project Aces to bring together the futuristic style of Kawamori's work (most notably seen in his Variable Fighter designs) with modern flight technology.

Ace Combat Infinity, the next console release in the Ace Combat series following Assault Horizon, featured the ASF-X Shinden II as the aircraft of choice of the Ridgeback Squadron, an elite squadron under the United Nations Forces. The aircraft's development history in the Infinity universe is still unknown.

The ASF-X Shinden II made its Strangereal debut in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown as DLC, and released on October 28, 2020, alongside the CFA-44 Nosferatu and XFA-27.

[Features]

  • Moving parts
  • VTOL is not featured unfortunately

[Controls]

  • Normal flight controls

[Armaments]

  • 2x MSL (Guardian)
  • 4x AAM (Interceptor)
  • 170x FLR

[Notes]

  • In the normal occasion, the wings will be fold once reaching 300+ mph.
  • VTOL is not included, it will crashes everything and would be a waste of parts (exceeding parts limit).

[Big-big thanks]

Thank you very much to Mousewithamachinegun122 for once againj for helping me to fix the flying issue. Initially, the flying control is really worse and unbalanced.

@LunarEclipseSP one of the things i can immediately think of is replacing the wingtips(rudder, canards, main wing) and the root base of the wing with solid Fuselage pieces and resizing the wings to be taller(and then shortened), its how i do stuff sometimes of the tail is unique like the dreidecker which had a rounded rudder

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG Yeah, unfortunately though, i cannot make it into 7 wings parts, the major problem is located on the front canard. There is no way to change it. If i change it into rotator mechanism it is just crashes everything. I don't know how to get around it anymore

@LunarEclipseSP yeah, AI spawnable, MAPA made a list of the rules of what constitutes as "Automatically Ai-spawnable" and having l
7 wing parts or less is one of them, there's also the part scale where the more parts you have them it's gonna be rarely spawned(e.g. a 50 part plane would be spawned more often than a 70 part plane), exceptions do apply for stuffs such as helicopters since ai can't fly one anyway lmao

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG ooh i see... So your PEA project is not only for efficient parts count but it is literally for AI capable as well?

@LunarEclipseSP fair enough lol, I usually get around it by replacing the less important wings(such as wingtips, or the top rear rudder tip) with fuselages, such and so, I do apologize for the inconvenience but my aim with the PEA is like that of MAPA, but for obscure/old planes(atleast me anyway), so and such and so

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG So it can't be featured though? Well that's fine. I ain't disappointed or objected. At least I can experiment with that.

The Shinden is mostly consisting a lot of wings due to it's complicated yet cutting-edge appearance. I can't even manage them all one by one it just, complicated as heck.

It's quite fun, I like how it performs! however.... the total wing parts it has(14, panels are also counted as wings) makes it non-eligible since it breaks the Ai-spawnable rule according to MAPA, still though, great execution!!

P.S. maximum wing part is 7 wings total, that's why if you check my Fokker Dreidecker, the middle wing is a fuselage piece

Is it probably possible if this build can be featured on your community-created PEA? @MonarchiiwithastolenMG
