The Macchi C.204 'Lancia' was a multirol fighter with the task of bomber escort and interceptor from World War 2, built and manufactured by the company Macchi Aeronautica and operated by the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian AirForce) in demands of a powerful, maneuverable and durable aircraft capable of doing multiple tasks. The C.204, comparable in conditions of speed and maneuverability to allied fighters, did not greatly influence the race for being late to it Due to the lack of industrial capacity in Italy, only a small amount of these fighters were manufactured before the end of the war.
