Martin B-57 Canberra

106k Hedero  5.4 years ago

Brief history

The Martin B-57 Canberra is an American-built, twinjet tactical bomber and reconnaissance aircraft that entered service with the United States Air Force in 1953. The B-57 is a license-built version of the British English Electric Canberra, manufactured by the Glenn L. Martin Company.

Controls
1=Nav Lights
2=Finger airbrakes(they're actually called that)
3=Main airbrakes
4=Bomb bay doors
5=Jettison all 750 lb bombs at once
G=LandingGear+LandingLights
VTOL=Flaps

Armament
9x 500 lb bombs
4x 750 lb bombs
4x wing guns

If you were wondering why this aircraft lacks some exterior detail as I usually add, it's because the part count is already higher than I wanted to begin with. If it weren't for part count, I would have added some more exterior detail. But I hope you enjoy anyway!

    @Hedero it flies very nicely , how ever you could've saved alot on parts by making the finger airbrakes connected to each other and be extended by one piston only rather than a piston for ever finger.
