@FireWgoW most were taken down by allied pilots while the 262s were on the way to land, half of the 262s in service had no more fuel to fly with and no engines, the 109s and 190s were useful in dogfights but the 262 was strictly used as an interceptor.

@FireWgoW Odd change of conversation subject. Not sure what the Me-262's unreliable engines has to do with the Horten.
@Othawne Me262 has many problems with its engine.....So many Me262 weren't take down by enemy,and most of them were fall because of the problem of engine......I think bf109 and fw190 are more useful than Me262
@FireWgoW I Am aware of that... But something like a Gloster Meteor or Messerschmitt Me-262. It was quite average. A Revolutionary design non the less.
Sadly it didn't get beyond the first prototype stage & as the Me-262 came to late in the war to make a difference.
