The M25 AT was a project planned by the United States during WW2, to mount the high powered 105mm T5E1 Gun onto a well armored chassis. This resulted in the creation of the M25 AT with its own unique chassis without reusing an older chassis as the basis.
The M25 AT was designed to survive a direct hit from the German Long 88cm Kwk Gun from beyond 200 meters at 0°. Along with being capable of destroying the Tiger II H frontally through the turret face beyond 800 meters. However was never intended on facing Tigers head on & only from a distance.
