"Sakhalin" class missile cruiser or Pr.1121 is the modification of old "Ronin" class heavy cruiser, created as a part of "Heritage-91" rearmament program. It’s designed for coastal operations support, and its 254-mm guns are always ready to help friendly landing forces (against unfriendly coastal troops).

Sakhalin is the russian island situated near the Pacific coast of the Russian Federation, to the north of Kurile Islands and Japan.
