So, the 2S30 Perun (Perun – the god of thunder and war in Slavic mythology) is an ultra-heavy self-propelled artillery system with a 300 mm caliber and a 15-meter barrel length. It has a firing range of 57 km, or 94 km if using a rocket-assisted projectile. A massive muzzle brake absorbs 43% of the recoil, allowing it to fire without damaging the chassis.
