The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is an all-weather, twin-engine, supersonic, carrier-capable, multirole combat aircraft, designed as both a fighter and attack aircraft (hence the F/A designation). Designed by McDonnell Douglas (now part of Boeing) and Northrop (now part of Northrop Grumman), the F/A-18 was derived from the latter's YF-17 in the 1970s for use by the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The Hornet is also used by the air forces of several other nations, and formerly by the U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels.

You can fly without a wing. You can fly with no wings. You can fly with no wings or a left vertical stab. You can fly with no wings or horizontal stabs. You can fly with no wings or ANY stabs. That’s just how good this is.

@F15Appreciater Thanks. There are certain aircraft that do seem more stable in PSM mode...z😺

@BluestBoi It is a PSM aircraft. Which means it is capable of performing Post Stall Maneuvering. So, 2 things, first, go into orbit View and perform some PSM maneuvers. Second, when you are in the cockpit, watch your speed VERY closely as you turn. Don't turn TOO tight and loose all your speed (or you will stall) The fix is to not turn too tight unless you are performing a PSM manuver. Make sense ? Turn slow & and don't lose all of your speed or you WILL stall (this plane is designed to stall yet still stay in the air. So take it back out. When you are in the cockpit, easy on the yoke and you will do great ! 😺 Z ;)

When I used it, it stalled a ton. I hadn’t ever had the wasp stall, but this wouldn’t stop.

@PZLAerospace Have you checked out my other builds ? Like my Xwing Click here R2-D2 has the most powerful weapon in this build. An Ion cannon. He will air for you left to right, but YOU must keep the correct elevation for this to hit. His head will also pop up and fire rockets. Switch to orbit camera mode and zoom in on R2-D2 and watch him use his computer interface to send commands to the on board computer to engage the afterburners. In the cockpit there is a status screen that will display the status of all systems. Is R2 Happy or upset ? Have the X-wing foils automatically spread into attack mode ? Landing gear status ? The developer Andrew Garrison himself SPOTLIGHTED & upvoted this build. I'm super proud of it.

@PZLAerospace I just started at the "Wright Airport approach" I had my throttle at 15% so I was coming in at about 250 or so. My wheels touched at 243 or so and I braked myself to a stop. I'm thinking the stall speed of this aircraft may be higher. "When in doubt, land faster" lol

@Zaineman I am really bad a flying fighter jets I usually fly airliners and I land airliners usually at about 120-150 kts so fighter jets land at higher speeds?
