Columbiair XP-42 Dingo

5,408 HeavyC22  3.9 years ago

In the early ‘40s Australia commissioned Columbiair to design and manufacture a new fighter. Due to the growing threat from Japan, Australia was becoming very worried. 300 were produce but none were delivered due to the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. (Fictional) This aircraft was far ahead of its time with an incredible climb rate, great manuverablilty, and a top of over 380mph. The six .50 caliber M2HB machine guns would rip apart any enemy aircraft. The long range even allowed it to attack mainland japan and land in Free China from airfields in Australia.

@HeavyC22 thank you for the tips. I do have an email you could contact me on. But how could I give it to you? This is a public platform and I’d prefer not to post my email for everyone.

They’re are several different ways. One simple way is to place a fuselage piece perpendicular to the aircraft’s body, “fuselage”, and shake it like your wing while using the manual edge shape and rise and run to edit the “dihedral”. Once you like the shape of your wing, place your “primary wing” inside of the fuselage pieces And shape it accordingly. Do you have a phone number of email I could contact you through. It would just be much easier to give you tips and step by step techniques with photos.
