"Skyhawk"

We can also call it the fire ant: tiny, but terrifying.

Depending on how you look at it,

the A-4E is either the 2nd or 3rd PEA-G; If you count the McDonnell Type B V/STOL as a PEA-G, the A-4 is the 3rd. If you don't, A-4 is the 2nd. Despite officially being christened as one, though, I personally don't count the Vertigo as a PEA-G, seeing as its existence predates the very concept of PEA Gen 4. That said, we, or at least I, can safely dub the A-4E the second of the PEA-Gs.

This build is balanced in just about all the right ways: aesthetically satisfactory, a part count safe for most devices, and flight performance that is at least decently realistic. Functionally, it also comes with an arresting hook and opening canopy. As for strength, the A-4 isn't the fastest or toughest per se, but it's very nimble, and its guns can hit hard if not kept in check. But again, I'd be most worried about its agility. A realistically but still amazingly tight turn circle and even tighter roll rate make the A-4 one of the most agile PEA-G aircraft I have. So agile, in fact, that it makes sense why the real-life TOPGUN used A-4s as aggressors.

PEA Lore:

Rememeber when I said he wasn't the fastest or toughest? Well, maybe not fastest. But toughest is a different story. The A-4E isn't exactly one to fear his enemy, regardless of it being an airborne bogey or a ground target waiting to get annihilated. In fact, in the given thumnail, you may notice an inequality in the elevators. This isn't a feature, but a souveneir of another scathing but successful battle.
The A-4E is also the first (and only) PEA we know who canonically plays War Thunder.

@realbacon0765 PEA aircraft are essentially AI aircraft, but with a much higher emphasis on saving parts while not sacrificing performance.
All PEAs are also replicas of something, a requirement not seen in AI aircraft. I believe it's OK to replicate fictional aircraft though (e.g. Rostock Sanka, ADFX-01, ADF-11, F-19, MiG-37, etc.)
