@Tankace1 You can dive slowly using the flaps and air brakes with the trim down.
You can dive with it without using a control stick.

The controls on this plane are terrible, I cant dive without the plane buckling into a spiral to death

@AerialFighterSnakes Those are the B-17s and the P-40s, and neither are filmed to be flying in large formations

@AerialFighterSnakes By the time the movie was made, flyable WWII Japanese planes are few; also, you need a LOT of flyable machines, and risking some of the only remaining ones won't be a choice.

What do you mean there are no flyable Japanese planes around anymore? There are plenty. At least that’s what I heard.@ThomasRoderick

@ThomasRoderick Last month I bought the Blu-ray of "Tora! Tora! Tora!".Certainly there are a lot of Texans coming out.In fact, it may be "Texans! Texans! Texans!" Rather than "Tora! Tora! Tora!"lol

@Zott Although not "everyone", many are similar enough - that's how people made the movie Tora! Tora! Tora! - there aren't any flyable WWII Japanese warplanes around anymore, so they decided to simply build replicas out of T-6 Texans and BT-13 Valiants.
