Information

The XPco C-200 is a narrow-body airliner designed by XPco Commercial Systems in 1982. When the jet age arrived to the SimplePlanes archipelago in the 1960’s and 70’s, airlines sought a commuter jet, one that would revolutionize the rapidly growing aviation industry on the islands. Thus in 1965 came the idea for the C-200, a jet conceived as a rival to the Boeing 727. The craft was revealed to the public on September 8th, 1967 with considerable fanfare. It’s served the world well, totaling 201 C-200s made during its production run from 1968-1982. It has been involved in just 1 fatal accident, the Krakabloan VIP disaster , in which a C-200-01 (first one in service) crashed in 1997 immediately after takeoff.

XPco’s first (and unfortunately last) trijet was powered by 3 XPco E-1 low-bypass engines located below the tail which provided enough thrust to get this thing flying at high speeds. I hope you enjoy this craft, it’s one of my most realistic airliners I’ve ever created in my 1.4 years here on SP.

This livery is that of the Yeager-Bandit Republic’s governmental transport division. It’s a simple, almost generic livery which just contains the emblems of the YBR for identification.

Author’s Notes

Trijets are cool. SimplePlanes are cool. What occurs when you mix them together? You get a cool plane. It was fun creating this, I partially used 727 blueprints to make the tail lol, I think it’s pretty awesomely done.
