A heavy tank that was the main purpose is to kill the Tiger 2 but unfortunately, didn't saw battle. The T29 was planned during 1944 and only 8 was made in 1945 April 12 before the Japanese surrendered, The Americans didn't make more because it has no reasonable purpose. It carried a 105mm Gun, Its sisters carried a much larger gun, Both the T30 and the T34.
