The FHI F12 Argentavis was a series of medium to low altitude twin-engine heavy fighters built from 1940-1947, used by the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps from 1942-1956. It was famous for its characteristic "Buzz" made by the engines. It was fast, loud, big, and carried more firepower than most fighters of the time, only being beaten by other night fighters, and select specialty day fighters.

Armament: 4x Browning M2 12.7mm Machine Gun, 2x Hispano 20mm Autocannon. Provisions for 2 bombs of up to 500lb each.

    @Farewellntchii just you. Also, some flaps during that period served a dual purpose. Or, in the case of the Argentavis; The front wings are so far forward that the flaps act like airbrakes if deployed down, and normal flaps if deployed upward. Kinda like a Helldiver but fully-realised.

    @Farewellntchii flaps aren't meant to be used at high speeds, and the ones on this airframe are intentionally an odd shape to discourage use at speeds in excess of 270mph, as any real life WW2 aircraft. The landing gear wouldn't operate correctly without closing by default. Ty for the compliment tho m8 :)
