First, compliments of Guyfolk, this craft has the best HUD in the game. R2 D2 is Armed w an Ion cannon and when activated he will shoot ground & Air targets with you. Once active, R2 will continue to track targets & be ready to fire at a moments notice. Landing gear must be up for R2's Ion cannon to work. Next, press the R2D2 button to activate R2. The gold display will give you status of all systems. R2's Ion cannon has aim assist only. If you want to hunt tanks or trucks, R2 also has rockets. Use aiming reticle in HUD. @Fadepug Thank you for the upvote ! You must try This X-Wing R2 has an Ion cannon the most powerful weapon on the ship and he can help in dog fighting and ground attacks. Press R2 D2, then press Cycle for attack mode (air to air etc) , then press WPN for ion cannon. R2 has aim assist but you still must help. It is so much fun dog fighting with R2's Ion cannon !

Actually R2 have so many years of combat experience and giving R2 heavy weapons will be too overpowered for the Sith.
@RacerPilot234 This is one of my favorite posts. When activated, R2 will get "Upset" see display in craft and R2 will begin to stare at enemies and even shoot them with his own very powerful Ion cannon. Tell me what you think ? Z ;)

@guyfolk @icecraftgaming @winswings Guys this is a must fly ! Guyfolk put an idea in my head and I took it a few steps further. R2 is now weaponized ! He will track and fire at air and ground targets using either his Ion cannon (railgun lol) or his rockets. Once activated he has his own aim assist. Be sure your gear is up, press R2 button, press cycle, cannon and enjoy ! !
