A highly fuel-efficient experimental vehicle. Though the stature is rather broad, it can be narrowed for compactness at the cost of stability. This fuel-efficiency comes at a cost, though; it is very slow and takes time to get used to. Use TRIM and VTOL together to activate the legs. Lower TRIM or VTOL slightly for a short amount of time if it does not move forwards, before getting it back up to maximum. When TRIM ans VTOL levels match, it stays moving the direction it is. Use YAW to turn, and ROLL to look around. [8] controls the gyroscopes and [1] allows manual override of gyroscope torque. Just remember that THROTTLE changes the angle of the "knees," which start at 180°, but can go to a minimum angle of 90° for maximum speed. Low throttle settings can be used to shorten the X-4 Ant to let it slip under obstacles. When removing the gyroscopes, remember to also remove the floppy hinges. Note that removing gyroscopes may make it more suited to going under obstacles, but it will remove the ability to climb smooth slopes efficiently. Increasing the piston range of the VTOL-controlled pistons changes how much it bounces around, but it makes it more suited for rough terrain.
