Developed for the Soviet Union by Sukhoi, the SU-25 (affectionately dubbed “Frogfoot” by NATO) was built as a ground attack aircraft. Its first flight was on February 22, 1975 to rival the US A-10 Warthog, which premiered three years earlier on May 10, 1972. The plane is currently in service, though it is definitely closer to the end of its service life.
Armament:
2 x 30mm Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-2 Autocannon with 250 rounds combined (under nose).
2 x SPPU gun pods with two 23mm Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23 cannons.
4 x FAB-500 general purpose dumb bombs.
4 x S-24 Rockets.
Several ASO-2V decoy dispensers (chaff and flare).

Controls:
-VTOL for flaps (they help on take off, the gear isn’t the strongest).
-Group 1 to jettison bombs, and for the arresting hook (could have planned that better).
-Group 2 to jettison gun pods.

I’ve linked my blueprints as sort of a bibliography:

Now I know someone is thinking “Wait, the SU-25 isn’t carrier based,” and to this, I say “http://militaryanalysis.blogspot.com/2015/07/frogfoot-utg.html”.

Enjoy! =D
