Hello, gentlemen comrades fellow ward-mates! So, AKES keeps developing all kinds of cool crap, and for testing it they adapted one of the “Cruel Angels,” which is actually right in front of us. At the moment there’s a prototype helmet with an augmented-reality visor on it, and most of the interface has been moved onto that visor. Of course, since this is still an experimental version, it may not be the most comfortable and might have reliability issues. But ultimately, by design, this should increase pilots’ convenience and effectiveness, and spare aircraft from having to carry extra screens. Now, more detail about what’s where:
Top left: weapons list
Bottom left: radar screen
Center: a crosshair which also serves as the target-lock indicator
Right, top to bottom: altitude, G-load, angle of attack, speed in Mach, speed in km/h, and finally coordinates.
