For the US, Thanksgiving is coming up in a couple of weeks.

So, I thought I'd share a turkey with the people of Simple Planes. Here you go, :) Turkey takes about 20 minutes per pound to roast, so this one will be done on April 29th next year...I got a bit of a late start on this one, dinner will be a little late.

    @ASDFASDF1 It is. But I am not referring to the country. Only to the bird. The birds are large--7 to 10 kilos or so--and are a big part of our Thanksgiving celebrations here in the US. Basically a giant sized chicken. In my home, we will usually host about 18 people for our dinner. I cook the bird, stuffing, and some mashed potatoes with gravy. The other folks usually bring other things to go along--vegetables and desserts mostly.
    It is a feast. But what I actually like the most is the family and friends that gather around my dining room.
