The Polikarpov Po-2 was designed in the Soviet Union, for crop-dusting purposes. It was used in Word War 2 by the famous all-female bomber group the "Night Witches", who used it mainly for terror-bombing German encampments. Over 20,000 of these aircraft were built, and it is still being flown today!
